Qur’an Intensive cultivates a strong familiarity with the Qur’an and literacy of the Qur’an among participants.
Our primary goal is to facilitate a deep, meaningful connection to the Qur’an and foster the development of a Qur’anic worldview.
This program is offered in-person and online for ages 17 and up.
Qur’an Camp for Youth
Ages 7-12:
Our Kids Qur’an Camp makes learning meaningful and fun through age-appropriate commentary and reflections on select passages of the Qur’an. This is offered in-person and online.
Ages 13-16:
This year, we are also introducing a Teens Qur’an Camp designed as a dedicated space for teens to slow down, reflect, and spend intentional time with the Qur’an, deepening understanding, strengthening their connection, and engaging in thoughtful discussion relevant to their stage of life. This camp is only offered in-person.
Qurʾan Intensive Curriculum:
Our curriculum is structured around five key components:
Qur’anic Recitation: Through guided recitation sessions, students will sharpen their listening skills, identifying key vocabulary words. This immersive approach will deepen their understanding of translated verses.
Instructed Translation of Verses: While students will have access to basic translations, our instructors will offer nuanced interpretations tailored to the objectives of the class. These refined translations aim to enhance comprehension and engagement.
Brief Commentary: Recognizing the complexity of certain Qur’anic passages, our curriculum includes concise commentary where necessary. This will explain concepts, expound upon narratives, and overarching themes, ensuring a holistic understanding of the text.
Reflection: Central to our program is the development of a personal connection with the Qur’an. Through guided reflection exercises, students will not only absorb the meaning of verses but also apply their relevance and application in daily life.
Vocabulary: Each juz will feature a curated selection of 20 common Qur’anic vocabulary words. This systematic approach aims to enrich students' deeper comprehension and engagement with the text.
Over the course of the curriculum, we will go through 15 juz of the Qur’an, systematically addressing our objectives through each component of the curriculum.

We engage with the Qur’an through a:
Linguistic Lens: Discover the meaning of common Arabic root letters in the Qur’an.
Storytelling Lens: Learn life lessons from powerful stories in the Qur’an.
Thematic Lens: Explore key themes and messages in the Qur’an.
Listening Lens: Strengthen connection through Qur’anic vocabulary and guided listening.
Historical Lens: Understand the Qur’an’s history, preservation, and miracles.
Love for Allah Lens: Grow your love for Allah by learning how He describes Himself in the Qur’an.
Reflective Lens: Study tafsir of selected passages for deeper understanding.
Practical Lens: Implement Qur’anic character in daily life.
Spiritual Lens: Memorize and understand Qur’anic duas.
Memorization Lens: Learn a Surah along with its meaning.

Adults:
Qurʾan Intensive Onsite & Qurʾan Intensive Online: 9 am to 5 pm central, every day, weekends included. We have a modified schedule on Jumuʿah.
Teens:
Teens Qurʾan Camp Onsite: 9 am to 5 pm central, daily, weekends included. Schedule will include age appropriate activities.
Teens Qurʾan Camp Online: Coming Soon
Kids:
Kids Qurʾan Camp Onsite: 9 am to 5 pm central, daily, weekends included. Schedule will include arts, crafts, and recess.
Kids Qurʾan Camp Online: 10 to 11:30 am central, daily, weekends included. Schedule will include live Q&A and class hangouts.
Live online attendance is not mandatory.
