Head of Development
We are seeking a Head of Development to spearhead the fundraising and donor engagement efforts at Qalam. The Head of Development will be responsible for designing and executing a comprehensive development strategy that strengthens donor relationships and secures financial support across multiple channels—including individual giving, major gifts, corporate sponsorships, and grants. This role will work closely with the leadership team, Board of Directors, and staff to ensure the long-term sustainability and growth of Qalam’s programs and initiatives.
Facility Service Technician
We are seeking a hands-on Facility Service Technician to join our facility operations team. The ideal candidate is experienced with the key components of a commercial building and is comfortable working on-site with ladders, tools, and getting involved directly in maintenance and troubleshooting of all building components. You will work closely with our Facility Director and Facility Manager to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient operation of the building.
Guest Services Parking Attendant
The Guest Services Parking Attendant will play a key role in creating a welcoming and organized experience for community members and visitors with a focus on parking management, traffic flow, and hospitality support during high-traffic times and events.

This part-time role is ideal for someone with accounting experience looking to give back through volunteer work, or a student currently pursuing a degree in accounting who wants hands-on experience in a nonprofit setting.

Facilities Assistant Coordinator
The Facilities Assistant Coordinator provides on-site support during weekends and occasional one-off requests. This role acts as the first point of contact for urgent program or facility issues, maintains visibility across the building, and ensures communication gaps are bridged with the central Facilities/Operations team.
Finance & Development Intern
The Finance & Development Intern will provide critical support during the Ramadan season by assisting with donation processing, cash handling, and financial reconciliation. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, trustworthy, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high volumes of donations. The intern will work closely with the Finance and Development teams to ensure accurate, timely, and secure recording of contributions.
Security Guard
We are seeking a Security Guard to support the safety and security of Qalam’s facility, staff, students, and guests. This includes monitoring camera systems, overseeing parking access, maintaining building security, and patrolling during programs and events. The ideal candidate is vigilant, reliable, and committed to maintaining safety across the campus.
