A Portrait of the prophet ﷺ

Taught by: Sh. Abdulnasir Jangda

Jabir, a companion of the Prophet ﷺ, says, "I saw the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), on a night when the full moon was out. He was wearing a dark red garment. I looked at the Prophet ﷺ, and then I looked at the full moon, then again I looked at the Prophet ﷺ, and then again I looked at the full moon, and I kept alternating between them until I came to the realization that Muhammad, the Messenger of God ﷺ is more beautiful than the full moon."

Jareer ibn Abdullah, may Allah be pleased with him, says, "Whenever I met the Prophet ﷺ, he was smiling."

Whether it was Ali رضي الله عنه who grew up in the home of the Prophet ﷺ and knew him his entire life, or it was Umm Ma'bad, an elderly Bedouin woman who only saw the Prophet ﷺ for a couple of hours, everyone who saw him and interacted with him was in awe of him. The Prophet ﷺ is the best of humanity not only in his character, but also in his characteristics. In this class, we will learn about the noble features of the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad ﷺ from the in-depth descriptions provided by those who benefited from being in his presence: his family and his companions.
